- Install - The grey 4mm polycord goes into the roller, the black 6mm polycord goes in the sailtrack on the van.
How to choose the correct awning fabric size?
- When selecting awning fabric size, it is important to consider factors other than your caravan size. Different size awnings can be fitted on identical size caravans.
- The fabric size for your awning is generally around 10" shorter than the awning size. This accounts for the necessary space allowance for the awning structure, anti-flap bars, and guide ropes that secure the awning. Avoid using the awning size as a reference for fabric size.
- All of our fabrics are 8ft from the track on the caravan to the second slot on the awning roller. See the attached illustration, please note the 8ft doesnt include the flap.

Was a little wider than the original which may have been made to suit the van but am happy with the extra space.
We had a Great experience buying this awning, after I made the order I wanted to change the colour and because it was picked up buy the transport company it was done, so easy i was impressed with there service, and the vinyl awning replacement was easy as , first time doing one me and the wife about 1 hour

Awning great but had a little trouble threading the plastic wires through due to being rolled up for shipping , but still happy with the outcome.

Awning material seems good quality, however the black plastic spline provided is rigid and snapped when I unfolded it. The grey plastic spline does not become straight after unfolding and always remains retains its bends which makes it hard to insert into the awning barrel and did not successfully get fully inserted. Hopefully the product will survive the wind.

To be honest, the awning doesn't seem to be the same quality as original. Fitted OK, the 4mm cord was smaller then previously fitted cord 6mm. However appears to be OK. On a trip now, we'll see how it goes.

Fitting to carefree awning was a little more tricky as the new awning is longer & we had to retention the roller . We also had to make our own holes in each end to fit the wiring for the lights in awning & also fit back a dummy chord in the other end because awning would not roll up tight that end because of the wiring in the other end.
